I would like to thanks Tina for getting me out on the bike tonight. I was at The Bike Peddler getting ready for the Wed night worlds but wasn't in the mood to go hard or even ride at all tonight. She suggested 10/10. 10 miles per hours for 10 miles. Seems reasonable. I ended up with 16/20. I've never been good at hitting my goals! I was very tired but feel good about doing it.

Daisy is in good spirits today. After I mowed the lawn she even wanted to play with her ball. I threw it but she didn't fetch it. That's not so unusual as she always thought chasing the ball was kinda stupid. She would rather play keep the ball from the humans. Oh, Daisy says hi.

You are keeping it together Robert and I am honored to have you for a co-worker and a friend! In fact this is the first time that I can say I have a "hottie" for a friend. I usually get the rejects-probably because most of the pretty people I know have all been snobs and it is not about the outside but the what is on the inside that counts. Take care and give Daisy a big hug for me. She sounds like a wonderful family member!

Hey Robert. I finally got the message home...

It is hard to see you so distraught, but totally understandable. (Yes, you do hide it, but I can see it in our eyes.) This has put things in perspective, hasn't it? Work just isn't that important. It is more of a distraction so as to not think about what really is important....and be free of the pain for just a while each day. Because sometimes you think if you cry again, you might not be able to stop this time...

My neighbor's dog has had a stroke and can't see or get around, yet she is still wagging that tail and loving being loved. So is Daisy. Know that she wants to be with you as long as she can, just as you want to be with her. So don't feel guilty because you think you should be making a decision already. There is no hurry. And you don't want to second guess yourself that you acted too quickly. I have been through it three times, and it is heart-wrenching. Just love her today, and take your cue from her; she will let you know when she has had enough.

Whenever you want to talk, I am here.
